Best Dog in the World –
Carmen! Carmen! Carmen! If she is not the world’s best dog trainer, I sure would like to meet that person. Through circumstances beyond my control, I was not able to take my new puppy home when he was 8 weeks old. Purely by chance (great luck, really!), he spent the better part of a month with Carmen, until I was able to get him at 12 weeks. No denying that this was a fine dog, the product of an exceptional breeding, but Carmen helped make him into absolutely the most wonderful dog I’ve ever had. She delivered to me a puppy who had all the basic skills like crate training, (mostly) potty-trained, following basic commands, excellent listener, well-socialized to humans and other dogs, and as sweet as one could imagine. She cultivated a demeanor in this marvelous creature that will serve us well for life! I am in an apartment in a big city, continue to work with a trainer here (who is most impressed by what Carmen did), and (no bias!) I now have the Best Dog in the Entire World. Carmen gave me an incredibly pliable, engaging and happy dog, quick and eager to learn, better behaved than almost every adult dog (or human) I meet, well on his way to becoming a therapy dog. I am giving only 5 stars because I am not allowed to give 10. Carmen is great!
