First time dog owners –
What a difference Carmen has made for our dog. My wife and I are first time dog owners. Despite having signed up for group puppy classes – and doing our best to train him – our dog developed needy, attention seeking behaviors and at times becoming difficult to be with.
We were fortunate to find Carmen and after an initial meeting we signed up for a series of in home training sessions. There was real value in having Carmen assess the dynamics of our house and how we interacted with our dog. Within a few weeks, his behavior had undergone a transformation.
It was clear that the sessions were as much about training us as our dog. Carmen has a deep understanding of dog psyche and how to effectively teach us to understand that to work for our pet. There is no magic – it takes a commitment to follow her advice between sessions – but it has been rewarding. To top it all off, it has been really fun to get to know Carmen personally!
