Puppy 4-Pack Recommendation –
After years of big, lovable, easy-to-train dogs, I decided I wanted a Jack Russell pup. I am an animal person, and have raised dogs, cats, horses, donkeys all my life. But, maybe because of this history (and because I’ve come across some wild and unruly Jacks), I knew I needed to “hit the ground running” in training this pup without losing any of those crucial early days. I also needed this pup to go wherever I go, do whatever I do, and behave well in all situations. I had met Carmen Noradunghian before, and knew she was a dog trainer, so I called her. Carmen has been fabulous. She is no-nonsense, conscientious, honest and straight forward — just the qualities needed to communicate clearly to a wiggly, squiggly pup with a short attention span. Her methods are clear and concise, and easy-to-follow, and she goes the extra mile to answer questions that come up outside the training session. My pup is now 6 months old, and while she still has plenty of maturing to do, she knows the expectations and I know what to do to reinforce and develop them.
